
The medal winners of the coveted San Francisco World Spirits Competition have been announced and Australian gins have achieved great results, with 9 Double golds awarded to; Never Never Distilling Co.’s Triple Juniper Export Strength AND Southern Strength gins, Imperial Measures Distilling Bold gin, 23rd Street Distillery Signature gin, Archie Rose Distilling Co. Distiller’s Strength gin, Brisbane Distillery Company Christmas Muscat Barrel-aged gin, Australian Distilling Co. Gold Coast Gin, Sandy Gray gin, and Native Spirits Melbourne Classic gin by Patient Wolf.
Of the 9 Double gold medals 4 went to South Australia!
In total Aussie gins won 9 double golds (+4 from 2020), 17 gold medals (+5 from 2020), 27 Silvers (+3 from 2020), and 4 bronze medals (-11 from 2020). That’s a total of 53 medals, a fantastic achievement!

Launched in 2000, the San Francisco World Spirits Competition is considered the most respected and influential spirits competition in the world, with a rigorous judging process involving highly controlled blind-tastings with an expert panel who only receive information on spirit type, ABV and age (where applicable) to remove bias.
