I know it’s not cherry season but they are my favourite fruit, PLUS Anther Spirits 2020 cherry gin has just launched, so I took that as a sign to whip up this delicious and easy to make Cherry Gin crush.
It’s is a riff on the famous Bramble cocktail, created by legendary bartender Dick Bradsell. I’ve basically replaced blackberry flavours with cherry.
It’s a super easy cocktail to make, if you don’t have fresh cherries, you can use frozem, or omit them altogether!
Ingredients for a Cherry Gin Crush
45ml Anther Cherry gin
30ml freshly squeezed lemon juice
12.5ml simple syrup
12.5ml Heering Cherry liqueur
half a dozen fresh cherries (or frozemn) optional

How to make a Cherry Gin Crush:
Take four of the cherries and middle them at the bottom of your cocktail shaker.
Add the lemon juice and gin then half fill the shaker with ice. Shake vigorously until chilled. Double strain into a rocks glass and add ice. Cover with crushed ice (if you can get a volcano shape, fabulous – as you can see I couldn’t!) then pour over the cherry liqueur.
Garnish with a couple of cherries and you’re ready to imbibe!
