(in partnership with Bombay Sapphire)

Pink gin is one of the biggest gin trends of the few years. More often than not, though, they tend to taste overly sweet, or worse like artificial confectionary. So Bombay Sapphire’s latest expression, Bramble, was a very pleasant surprise.
Vapour distilled, Bombay Sapphire is blended with a real fruit infusion of freshly harvested blackberries and raspberries, giving a vibrant colour and 100% natural flavours.
Th essence of blackberries and rasperries is mouthwateringly delicious and balances well with the juniper. It’s definitely not a gin liqueur, at 37.5% ABV it stands up well in a variety of cocktails. including the modern classic and eponymously named gin cocktail, The Bramble.
Drinking Bramble Gin

Dick Bradsell created the The Bramble, a delicious riff on a gin sour. The original recipe calls for Crème de Mûre, blackberry liqueur, but by using Bombay’s Bramble, you don’t need to!
Ingredients:
45ml Bombay Sapphire Bramble gin
30ml freshly squeezed lemon juice
12.5ml simple syrup.
How to:
Shake all the ingredients together in an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Add to an old-fashioned glass and fill with crushed ice. Garnish with blackberries and a slice of lemon.
Gin and Tonic or Gin and Sonic?
Bramble gin goes brilliantly with Fever-Tree Mediterranean gin, but if you are looking for an even lower sugar option, try a Sonic – 50/50 tonic and soda water.
