The Sixth Day of Gin-Mas

No, you aren’t seeing double! The team at Adelaide Hills distillery wanted to give 6 lucky people the chance to try their gin for the sixth day of Gin-Mas!

Sacha LaForgia has an exciting weekend ahead of him as he opens LOT.100 (pictured above),┬áthe new home of Adelaide Hills Distillery that he’ll share with a cider maker, a wine-maker and a restaurant. It’s a huge leap from where he began almost 4 years ago creating his first gin, 78 degrees on a tiny still that he built himself.

Since then Sacha has worked alongside Something Wild to create Green Ant gin, a tasty citrus forward gin made using actual Green Ants. A percentage of profits from the sale of this gin go back to the indigenous community where the ants are foraged.

Sunset gin is the latest release. Don’t let the pink hue fool you, it’s not a sweet gin! It is a divine fruit number with a superb dry finish.
